Trauma Therapy in Toronto

Not yet — we do not have a clinic in Toronto itself. Almost all Toronto clients see us at home, in the community, or online, and that has not been a limitation: the same clinicians, the same equipment, and the same insurer paperwork, brought to you instead of the other way around.

For Toronto clients, we come to you. Counselling appointments are available at home and in the community across Toronto; dietitian support is available virtually. Virtual sessions are available anywhere in Ontario. Being seen at home is often more practical than travelling while injured, and many clients find it easier to speak openly in their own space than in a clinical office.

Therapy is available in home and in the community across downtown Toronto, North York, Scarborough, Etobicoke and East York, and virtually anywhere else in the GTA.

Then we come to you, or we see you online. Between in-home visits and virtual appointments, there is no situation where being unable to travel means going without treatment.

If you would prefer to attend a clinic but cannot drive, we can arrange transportation.

If you were injured in a collision, treatment is funded through your auto insurer’s accident benefits regardless of fault. We complete the paperwork and bill your insurer directly, so approved care costs you nothing.

Your insurer has ten business days to answer a funding request. On a case-by-case basis we may begin before it is confirmed.

No accident claim? Trauma therapy and psychotherapy can be covered by extended health benefits, or paid privately, with sliding-scale fees available.

How funding works →

A fair question. There is no Critical Trauma Therapy clinic in Toronto yet. What we offer instead is the same specialized team at your door or your screen, without a waiting room or a drive through downtown traffic.

What we offer that a general practice usually cannot: motor vehicle accident recovery as a specialty, assessment and treatment under one roof, objective measurement with FDA-cleared devices, and three assessments developed in-house that are unavailable anywhere else in Ontario.
