Therapy After a Car Accident
A collision injures more than a body. Sleep breaks. Driving becomes frightening. Small things provoke anger or tears. Concentration goes. None of that means you are not coping, it means the injury included your nervous system and that is treatable.
Whether you were driving, a passenger, a pedestrian, or a cyclist, or you are here for someone you love, this is where to start.
Injured in a motor vehicle accident? Start with a free intake call. We use it to understand what you need and to complete the funding request to your insurer. Your insurer has ten business days to respond, and treatment is booked once approval is in place. Case by case, we may begin sooner.
How Is the Accident Affecting You?
Tick anything that has been true for you in the past month. Nothing is recorded, and there is no right number.
Three Kinds of Support, One Team
Most people who come to us after an accident need more than one of these. You do not have to arrange them separately.
What Makes Us Different
There are many clinics offering counselling or physiotherapy. Very few are built specifically around recovery after a motor vehicle accident, and fewer still can do all of it under one roof.
Accident Recovery Is What We Do
This is not a general practice that also happens to see accident clients. In fact, motor vehicle accident recovery is our specialty, and our founder is an Occupational Therapist with more than twenty years in this field, recognized as an Expert Witness in Occupational Therapy by the Ontario courts. That experience means we know what you are entitled to and how to make sure it reaches you.
Everything Under One Roof
Counselling, physiotherapy, nutrition, psychological assessment, TMS and neurofeedback, all in one place. You are welcome to use one service or several, whichever suits you. If you would like your clinicians to work together on your recovery, we will ask for your written consent first, and only then will they share information and coordinate your care. Nothing is discussed between them without your agreement.
We Measure Instead of Assuming
We use FDA-cleared medical devices to measure sleep, driving anxiety, movement and strength objectively. That matters clinically, because treatment can target the real problem, and it matters practically, because your difficulties are documented rather than doubted.
Assessments Available Nowhere Else
Three assessments developed in-house, copyright protected and unavailable through any other provider in Ontario, covering driving anxiety, sleep quality, and the practical barriers standing in the way of recovery. They exist because the standard reports were missing what mattered most.
We Handle the Insurance Process
As a result, we complete the paperwork, submit the funding requests, and deal with your insurer directly. Your insurer has ten business days to respond to a funding request, and because we would rather not leave you waiting, on a case-by-case basis we may begin treatment before funding is confirmed.
We Come to You
Four clinics in Grimsby, Kitchener, Oakville, and St. Catharines, plus in-home appointments across the Greater Toronto Area and Southern Ontario, in-school sessions for children where the school authorises our attendance, and virtual appointments anywhere in the province. If getting to us is the obstacle, we will remove it, including arranging transportation.
If you are still in hospital, we can come to you there. Some people begin therapy at the bedside, well before they are able to travel anywhere.

We see clients from age four upward, and we treat people whose difficulties began with something other than a car accident too. If you are unsure whether we can help, please call and ask.
How Your Care Is Funded
If you were injured in a motor vehicle accident, your treatment is funded by accident benefits, regardless of who caused the crash. This applies whether you were a driver, a passenger, a pedestrian, or a cyclist. Pedestrians and cyclists struck by a vehicle are covered in the same way, which many people do not realise, and if you do not hold your own auto policy there is usually still a route to coverage through a household policy or the insurer of the vehicle involved. We prepare the paperwork, submit it and bill the insurer directly. Approved treatment costs you nothing out of pocket.
The insurer has ten business days to respond to a funding request. We know that waiting is hard when you are struggling, so on a case-by-case basis we may begin treatment before funding is confirmed.
No accident claim? Most extended health plans cover therapy. Where they do not, we offer sliding-scale and self-pay rates, protected accounts through BridgePoint, and MediCard financing for private-pay sessions. We will work within your budget.
You Do Not Need a Lawyer to Start
Accident benefits are available whether or not you have a legal claim. Call us and we will explain what you are entitled to.
If Leaving Home Is Hard
We come to you across the Greater Toronto Area, Hamilton, Niagara, Kitchener–Waterloo and Gravenhurst, or meet you online anywhere in Ontario.
If Driving Is the Problem
Say so when you call. We can arrange transportation, and being afraid to drive is itself something we assess and treat.
If English Is Not Your First Language
We provide on-demand medical interpretation in over 300 languages, at no additional cost to you, and wherever possible we will match you with a clinician you can speak with directly.
Helping Someone Who Will Not Ask
People rarely announce that they are struggling after a crash. It shows up as irritability, withdrawal, drinking more, refusing to drive, sleeping badly, or insisting they are fine while plainly not being fine.
You can call us before they are ready. We will talk through what you are seeing, tell you whether it warrants concern, and suggest how to raise it in a way that does not feel like an accusation. Our team also works with children from age four, and with families as a whole where the accident affected everyone in the car.
We cannot discuss another adult’s care without their consent, but we can help you figure out the first conversation.
