How It Works in Hamilton

What to expect if you are in Hamilton and thinking about getting in touch.

Do you have a Hamilton clinic?

Not in Hamilton itself. Our nearest clinic is Grimsby, at 166 Main Street West, roughly twenty minutes from east Hamilton with free parking at the rear of the building.

For most Hamilton clients, though, we come to you. In-home and in-community appointments are available across the city, and virtual sessions anywhere in Ontario. Being seen at home is often more practical than travelling while injured, and it shows us the stairs and the bathroom you are actually dealing with.

Which areas do you cover?

Therapy is available in home and in the community across Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster, Dundas, Waterdown and Binbrook, and throughout Haldimand County including Caledonia, Hagersville and Cayuga, as well as Grimsby, Beamsville and Lincoln.

Physiotherapy home visits cover Hamilton, Stoney Creek, Ancaster and Dundas, extending through Grimsby, Beamsville and Lincoln into the Niagara region.

What if I cannot get out at all?

Then we come to you, or we see you online. Between in-home visits and virtual appointments, there is no situation where being unable to travel means going without treatment.

If you would prefer to attend a clinic but cannot drive, we can arrange transportation.

How is it funded?

If you were injured in a collision, treatment is funded through your auto insurer’s accident benefits regardless of fault. We complete the paperwork and bill your insurer directly, so approved care costs you nothing.

Your insurer has ten business days to answer a funding request. On a case-by-case basis we may begin before it is confirmed.

No accident claim? Trauma therapy and psychotherapy can be covered by extended health benefits, or paid privately, with sliding-scale fees available.

Why not a Hamilton clinic instead?

A fair question. Hamilton has good clinics, and if you want to walk into premises nearby, one of them may suit you better.

What we offer that a general practice usually cannot: motor vehicle accident recovery as a specialty, assessment and treatment under one roof, objective measurement with FDA-cleared devices, and three assessments developed in-house that are unavailable anywhere else in Ontario.
